How to Install python-bcrypt software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-bcrypt software package provides implementation of OpenBSDs Blowfish password hash algorithm - python 2.x, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-bcrypt

python-bcrypt is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-bcrypt package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-bcrypt *

You will get with python-bcrypt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
